"Beckett" Table Lamp

The "Beckett" table lamp has a clear, balanced form built around solid materials. A hand-turned wooden base supports a tall bone china shade, which diffuses light evenly into the room and gives the lamp its distinctive presence.

"Beckett" is designed to provide ambient light rather than a focused beam. Its height and proportion make it well suited to sideboards, consoles, or low shelving, where it can contribute warmth and atmosphere without dominating the space.

Poet's Corner Collection

"Beckett" is part of the Poet’s Corner Collection, a series of table lamps designed to bring greater structure and architectural presence to surface lighting. Across the collection, solid wood and bone china are used to explore contrast and proportion, shaping contemporary forms from traditional materials.

The name Poet’s Corner reflects where these lamps feel most at home — on writing desks and in the everyday spaces where softer light supports quieter moments. It also nods to Poet’s Corner in Hove, a neighbourhood close to our workshop — a place we once lived, and one still closely tied to our own sense of home.

Customisation

Every "Beckett" is made to order and can be personalised with a choice of wood finishes, fabric cable colours, and a black or white plug-and-switch. These details allow each lamp to feel personal and considered, whether you prefer a restrained neutral palette or a more expressive pop of colour, it's entirely up to you.
